Viva Cuba, Lazaat and Salsology
HOLA! As I've been busy lately I realise I've neglected the blog, so here's an update of what we've been up to...
At the end of April a few of us from Hull and York headed over to Leeds for the opening night of DJ Lubi's 100% Salsa night at Viva Cuba in Leeds. Nice venue with good potential for a great FREE night out like the old days of Homarus. Good to see a few of the old faces there. I have some fliers, so you can pick one up at Lazaat this week and head over one Friday to check it out for yourselves.
The last social at Lazaat saw two birthday dances - one for Darryl and the other for yours truly ;-) Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Went to see Dirty Dancing and had a lovely time, or should I say I had the time of my life! Anyway, it was awesome!
And so back to the present - Last night a posse from Hull travelled over to Manchester for Salsology. Yay! We were treated to a brillant show by the Salsology Company and Rohan Brown was teaching Bachata. Remember when he came to The Lamp? See you all Thursday, Rosie x
