Salsa Social Update

Hull's Salsa Social is taking a summer vacation! Sorry! As I was told last week that the Lazaat venue is no longer available on a Thursday, I've decided to take a break for a while - well it's been two years of non-stop Salsa DJ fun! But fear not, I will organise something soon and keep you posted on a new venue. The classes at Lazaat and at St Stephen's are still going from strength to strength, so keep up the classes in the meantime.

I've been asked to promote an event on Saturday 28th July in Harrogate - Carnival Cubana. A night of Cuban dance music featuring Manolito y su Trabuco and Sierra Maestra (who played in Hull last year). There will also be classes for improvers, intermediate and advanced dancers with UK Cuban Salsa Champions, Iris DeBrito and Osbanis Tejeda.

I'm hoping to organise a group booking so that we can get a discount, so let me know if you're interested. You'll be able to pick up a flyer from me, Anna or Steph. As last year, there will be an after party for us at La Tasca - Yay!

Just found out that our Lazaat venue will not be available for the next social date of June 21st as they have a function on - Sorry! :-(
