DJ Lubi & Fabio Bahia present La-33

Friday 4th July will see La-33 play at Leeds University. They're a Colombian 12 piece orchestra who you'll probably know from the famous 'La Pantera Mambo' - the one that starts off like the Pink Panther tune! :-)

Apart from live music from Bogota's hottest Salsa band, we'll be treated to:

DANCESHOWS
Tony Lara and Daniella de Francesca from Italy plus Latin Connection from Newcastle

DANCE CLASS
Intermediate/Improvers Salsa on1 class at 9.15pm with Salsaholic Nicky Lloyd Greame

MUSIC
DJs Emma Moore, Lubi, Fabio and Silvao

Tickets will be available at our next social on the 20th June. They're only £10 and I think, a real bargain. Otherwise you can get them from www.leedstickets.com

Salsa Celtica

What a great night in Hessle! (which is now officially the new home of Hull Salsa!)

Mambo Jambo did us proud by kicking off the night, and then the fantastic Salsa Celtica had us dancing all night (in various and sometimes unusual styles!)

If you want to find out more about the band you can visit www.salsaceltica.com or www.myspace.com/salsaceltica where you can listen to some tracks. (My favourite - El Sol de la Noche - listen out for it at the Hessle Salsa night)

Speaking of which, next Friday is our warm-up session at Salsology in Manchester. Hope to see some of you there! Un abrazo, Rosie x
