For me, this is the Alex Wilson gig to go to. The night will include classes with Rohan Brown and Lee Hunter, a show by Frank Santos, a set by Alex Wilson and the Salsa Con Soul Orchestra and then dancing until 3am!

Yep the Summer break is here folks so watch out for details of classes starting again in September after the biggest and best Salsa event in the Hull and East Riding on 13th.

What a great night at Salsology. I loved Conjunto Salsonito - and yes you could dance to all their music as promised. The Hull gang are growing and holding their own on the dance floor alongside the Manchester dancers - on1 and on2 - yay!

Heard really good things about La Excelencia gig in the Midlands and they're at the Wardrobe in Leeds of course this Friday. You can still get tickets from the Wardrobe on 0113 383 8800 without paying the booking fee.

Next Friday in Manchester it's the Salsology Summer Party! Well worth the trip especially as they've got Conjunto Salsonito playing a tribute to Fania Records.
