Christmas Party

Amigos, I need some feedback for the Christmas party scheduled for the 13th December.

Firstly I need to know whether you prefer a big Salsa and Supper event at Cave Castle as per the sell-out one in April or whether you'd prefer the Brough Village Hall 'bring your own food and drink' as per the launch party.

Secondly, I need to know whether to have a Tango class or a Shine with Styling class. Please email me (rosi@djrosi.com) with preferences as I need to get things booked. Gracias, Rosi x

New Classes and stuff

Wow what a fantastic turn-out! With the car park over-flowing, people were having to park out on the street! The word is obviously out and the Brough classes are well and truly on the map. Thanks to everyone who came and for the lovely feedback.

Been doing lots of dj-ing lately and have a few gigs booked in before Christmas which is good - my only complaint is lack of time! I will get around to putting some pics up soon from our launch party, oh and must get around to deciding whether or not to attend GBSex this year. The price goes up at the end of this month so probably need to do it soon.

Alternative Salsa and Supper

Alex Wilson in Derby

What an absolute kicking night! Had a great Tango introduction from Adam which was followed up later by a very classy demo with his dance partner Gisele.

Alex Wilson, what can I say? an absolutely first class set which included all my faves (although I would love to hear 'Oh Kuri' live - Alex's bhangra-salsa track - next time please!) Those of you who saw the band for the first time were not disappointed and a few of you came away with the 'Inglaterra' CD - excellent.

Also, I also did rather a lot of dancing!

Salseros - Lo Siento!

Due to circumstances beyond our control, myself and the Cave Castle Hotel have decided to cancel September's Salsa and Supper.

All those who have purchased tickets will receive and full refund and an invitation to a private Salsa party.

I will be putting on a night for those salseros who've supported my classes and my events. If you're one of these, you will receive a personal invitation and be included on the guest list.

Back to School

Sunday Salsa starts back on 20th September folks with a new format and an exciting new venue. The Elloughton cum Brough Village Hall has been a dance venue for many years and will now be the new home of our classes. Beginners will start at 6pm, Improvers at 7pm and then some dancing afterwards. So dust off your dance shoes and come along and check it out!
